Dr. Richard Litt received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Detroit in 1965 and his Masters degree and certification in Orthodontics from Northwestern University in 1969.

Dr. Litt was Professor and Chairman of the Department of Orthodontics at the University of   Detroit from 1969-1980 and Clinical Professor and Director of Postdoctoral Orthodontics at the University of California, San Francisco from 1980-1986, and has served as a Clinical Director of Orthodontics for the Pediatric Dental Residency of Children's Hospital of Michigan.

Dr. Litt is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and the European and French Societies of Orthodontics, as well as many other groups.  He is also a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontics.  He has published numerous articles and lectured extensively throughout the world on orthodontics.

Having received many accolades and awards, Dr. Litt is recognized as one of the most dynamic educators and clinicians in orthodontic education today.

He currently maintains an orthodontic specialty practice in Livonia, Michigan.
